The client was one of the largest Internet security
and vulnerability management companies that provides real-time
security patches and content updating to millions of client
nodes worldwide. What
When the client was considering different strategies
to expand globally, it had to consider multi-language support
as well as its ability to meet the various Service Level Agreements
(SLA’s) for different regions of the world. The company did
not have enough resources to establish QA and service centers
around the world. The client was looking for a one-stop service
center that could handle multi-language QA support and deliver
a cost-effective solution that could meet the SLA’s that the
client had in place with their customers. Solution
BizSmooth worked with the client to ensure that the
solution met both their budget and business requirements. We
built a secure OTC (Oversea Testing Center) in Shanghai, and
staffed it with both linguistic personnel and QA engineers to
perform multi-lingual testing. We organized the staff into different
teams to maximize utilization for the different platforms and
languages. Currently we are testing patches and updates in French,
German, English, Spanish, Simple Chinese, Traditional Chinese,
Japanese, Korean, Dutch, Finnish, Swedish and Italian on Windows
OS, NetWare, AIX, Solaris, Redhat Linux, Redflag Linux and HP-UX.
