The client is a leading network management software vendor.
They provide web-based network management tools to facilitate
everyday network management needs on all popular OS platforms.
What
Most technology start-ups face two issues: cost and schedule.
Our client was no exception. The need to reduce cost drove the
client to consider outsourcing development and testing offshore.
However, managing remote staff, continuously changing project
requirements, and meeting a tight schedule were key concerns
for the client management team and company investors.
Solution
To address these challenges and concerns, the BizSmooth team
did the following:
Communicated
frequently with the client to ensure complete understanding
of their specific needs; this includes regularly twice-weekly
phone conference updates
Worked with
the project's stakeholders early to understand how requirements
might change so that alternative test plans and strategies could
be worked out in advance
Shifted
our work hours early so that we have 2 overlapping hours in
the office
